2015 Goal Progress at 75%

Hey hey October! We are quickly approaching the time of year where I like to start thinking about the upcoming year. Goals, plans, intentions, what I want to change, what will stay the same. I'm really trying to change that this year because I have so much that I still want to do in the next three months and the items on this goal tracker are just a few of them. Here is a peek at what it looks like as of last night :

Not bad, really. Here's my percentage breakdown :

  • Reading : 9/10 or 90%
  • Exploring : 3/4 or 75%
  • Creating : 28/50 or 56%
  • Learning : 1/2 or 50%

What do I feel accomplished with? 5 layouts in the last two weeks and I'm back in my groove. Like I mentioned in my post yesterday, I've got a solid plan for catching up on those layouts. I realistically think I can average two layouts a week, maybe more some weeks so I can free myself up around the upcoming holidays. The only other creative project I have going on this year (besides my bi-weekly Project Life spreads) is December Daily. The more I can get done before that box shows up at my door, the better.

I've gotta say, I'm pretty proud that I've stuck with these goals this long. That I haven't abandoned the idea of filling this page with fun and interesting activities that I enjoy. That I didn't get bored (this is cause for celebration in and of itself) and I'm still pluggin' away. I did have a bit of a lull over the summer, but I'm back at it and motivated to finish strong. Especially with all of those layouts.

What did I struggle with? I'm having a hard time choosing a class to take. I've been talking about this since June, right? The letterpress class I have my eye on runs on a Saturday that I already have plans on and I don't want to choose another one "just because." I've been thinking about an introduction to archery class too - but I'm slightly nervous about making a fool of myself. Sigh. I also need to remember that I can continue to take whatever classes I want next year (and beyond) too. This isn't just a one-time deal.

Moving forward in October : Other than progressing with the layouts, I'm going to take a break and get out of the house mid-month for a little field trip before the weather gets too cold for it to be enjoyable. I must (at the very least) sign up for a class because I'm running out of time. And, I'd also like to get back in the habit of reading before bed. Mark and I have gotten into a couple of Netflix series, so I've been spending more time in front of the TV than usual. This weekend I hope to go through my Amazon wish list for a new book to devour. After You is near the top of my list.

At the beginning of the year, I set numbers to my goals and created this goal tracker to fill in and watch my progress. You can read more about the goals + the "whys" here.
